Because if you haven't been watching the news, and aren't aware of this, shame on you:

If you are reading this right now, you have more luxury than someone in Iran could ever hope for right now. If you are watching TV or a video on youtube, updating your status on Facebook, Tweeting, or even texting your friend, you are lucky. If you are safe in your home, and were able to sleep last night without the sounds of screaming from the rooftops, you need to know and understand what is happening to people just like you in Iran right now.

They are not the enemy. They are a people whose election has been stolen. For the first time in a long time, a voice for change struck the youth of Iran, just as it did for many people in the United States only seven months ago. Hossein Mousavi gained the support of millions of people in Iran as a Presidential candidate. He stands for progressiveness. He supports good relations with the West, and the rest of the world. He is supported with fervor as he challenges the oppressive regime of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

On Friday, millions of people waited for hours in line to vote in Iran's Presidential election. Later that night, as votes came in, Mousavi was alerted that he was winning by a two-thirds margin. Then there was a change. Suddenly, it was Ahmadinejad who had 68% of the vote - in areas which have been firmly against his political party, he overwhelmingly won. Within three hours, millions of votes were supposedly counted - the victor was Ahmadinejad. Immediately fraud was suspected - there was no way he could have won by this great a margin with such oppposition. Since then, reports have been coming in of burned ballots, or in some cases numbers being given without any being counted at all. None of this is confirmed, but what happened next seems to do the trick.

The people of Iran took the streets and rooftops. They shout "Death to the dictator" and "Allah o akbar." They join together to protest. Peacefully. The police attack some, but they stay strong. Riots happen, and the shouting continues all night. Text messaging was disabled, as was satellite, and websites which can spread information such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and the BBC are blocked in the country. At five in the morning, Arabic speaking soldiers (the people of Iran speak Farsi) stormed a university in the capital city of Tehran. While sleeping in their dormitories, five students were killed. Others were wounded. These soldiers are thought to have been brought in by Ahmadinejad from Lebanon. Today, 192 of the university's faculty have resigned in protest.

Mousavi requested that the government allow a peaceful rally to occur this morning - the request was denied. Many thought that it would not happen. Nevertheless, first a few thousand people showed up in the streets of Tehran. At this point, it is estimated that 1 to 2 million people were there. Mousavi spoke on the top of a car. The police stood by. For a few hours, everything was peaceful. Right now, the same cannot be said. Reports of injuries, shootings, and killings are flooding the internet. Twitter has been an invaluable source - those in Iran who still know how to access it are updating regularly with picture evidence. People are being brutally beaten. Tonight will be another night without rest for so many in Iran no older than I am. Tonight there is a Green Revolution.

I have a friend in that uni who i haven't heard from since tuesday their last corespondance:

We are cut off from the world. This time for good. The only thing
which is left is a very slow internet connection that does not allow downloading or uploading films or large images. Many websites are blocked, including BBC World, BBC Persian, Deutsche Welle, Facebook, Tuiter, Independent, you name it. Satellite channels such as BBC Persian are also blocked. We're fighting in streets, in universities, on emails and phone calls. SMS messaging is disabled. Mobile phones don't work in demonstration zones. All we hear from the West, is congratulation to Ahmadinejhad from Russia, China, etc. Even Robert Fisk who was in Tehran, and I only got to read him on a mirror site, doubts whether there has been a fraud. This is so humiliating. What I sent you in the previous email, is what we see everyday in streets, everywhere. And in all cities that I've heard of. My friend was beaten on the head with electric baton in front of my eyes two days ago.

phones, not to attend the demonstration today for they are planning a vast massacre. This is somewhat confirmed by Moosavi's official website. Nobody knows what to believe. They're pushing the whole country into aggression. They're looking forward to dead bodies. More than what they've got already. They shut yesterday into a crowed that had done its best (and I just couldn't believe this) to make the demonstration as peaceful as possible. They're crushing us down through information management.

It's more horrible than Lebanon or Palestine. We deserve to be heard.

Was going to Ikkicon today, but the damn tele line was down again, so I couldn't get online and find out where excatly it was this year, or when the dealers room was open. So instead I went back uo to Olkahoma again and lost $400 at the casino, this after losing $200 Thursday night up there. I was thinking about going to Ikki in morning but now I'm fucking broke (my own damn fault) so SHIT.

Been busy weekend, like I mention sec ago, me and the g/f went up to Oklahoma Thursday night to the casino, I was doing decent, lost a bit, got a $100 up, lost it, won it back, lost it, and then lost the $200 I brought with me.

Yesterday I took the g/f on the grand tour of east Texas. (get your maps of Texas for this) Headed out around to the other side of Dallas to have lunch at the best damn DQ in the state IMO in Canton. Then the grand tour of east Texas to Grand Saline to Mineola to Big Sandy to Gilmer(where I have roots), to Pittsburg (home of Pilgrams Pride the largest poultry company in the US), to Dangerfield, to Lone Star (home to like the biggest steel mill in the southwest, to bad theres not a still industry in the US anymore) down past Lake O' the Pines to Ore City and into Longview.

From there went east all the way to Lousiana. Ate dinner at the Catfish Village restaraunt in Waskem the last town in Texas before Lousiana, had to go breifly into Lousiana which I didn't want to for reasons I won't mention in public. About this castfish place its a catfish restaraunt/ catfish farm. They raise catfish out back the feed them to ya that night. Then the long drive back to dfw.

Then today stupid me with Ikki a no go, I goes back to Oklahoma alone to win my money back instead I loss another $400. No good. My own damn fault. I suck at gambling. Went up there to wim iphone money but instead gave to the casino %#$@. Oh wells besides losing all monies had I good time with the g/f, and getting out and traveling a bit.

AotD: Please! Teacher-OST

Been boucing back and forth between days and nights all week. Let's see worked overnight Sun/Mon and Mon/Tue just fine. Then Tues I was up all day after working all night watching the ingaruration. So up all day mostly with a little sleep Tuesday. Work Tues/Weds night, last night overnight. Had to take care of some fanily stuffs late morning so I had to stay up again all day. Finally passed out around 5pm and didn't wake up/ get up until it was time for work before 7am Thursday!!! And after about 13-14 hours of sleep I still wanted to sleep in XD.

Work Thurs afternoon, get home put on the metal look, chains and boots and all and went to a b-day party of one of my peoples with the g/f. Several of my peoples at work were there, had to show 'um what I look like outside of work. :) That took all night but it was free so complaints besides no time on the internettages.

Today work, down load the latest Naruto manga chapter (spoiler alert- kick ass year again Kishi stated the year with a bang:) G/f came over watched Ranma 1/2 Yeeeah first time in like forever it seems. Now posting here might watch some anime Black Lagoon maybe then bedage.

AotD: Black Sabbath- The Dio Years

Posting what I've done since last I posted is pretty simple. Watched Bleach, Code Geass, then watch all of Please! Twins, and finished the all night animethon with a ep of HellGirl. After that watch this live action Japanese movie from a while back called Blind Beast.

Slept. Woke up watched the football championship games. Went to work, worked, came home, cleaned up, posting here. Lol simple eh. Overnights just a couple more nights. Was nice finnally watching some anime, the other night, most anime I've watched in hell months and months. Got to do that more often, get started on Soul Eater soon. All for now. laters

Quick update before Bleach comes on. Haven't posted all week due to internetage probs. It been slooow all week incuding most of today. And I mean molasses in a blizzard slooow. Tonight been the first time I've had a decent connection.

Work been fine heping out in other areas to stay busy, going to be overnight this oming week, so tonight I'm trying to stay up watching anime. G/f came by for a bit earlier watched Ghost in the Shell and the first couple eps of Please Teacher!. Now I've been watching Please Twins! Try to watch that for most of the night after Bleach and Code Geass. Which is starting so laters, do take care and get better everyone.

Okay haven't posted in the last couple days. Nothing much family issues, football and the Taj.

Friday was boooorriing day at work. Evening G/f came over we watched Ghost adventures. Very good as always Then Most Haunted decent for them at least they didn't act like I bunch of bloody wankers for once. Me and the g'/f talked bout stuffs and thats all I really remember, oh watched the Running Man, then passed out.

Saturday was stressful dealing with family member whos in real bad health, refuses to go to hospitial and just stressing the hell out of me. Worked on the Taj Mahal alot, watched the football playoffs. Went over to the g/fs for dinner then she came over watch Raw Deal. After she went back home, manged to stay awake (had a bottle of champain to myself) and wathed Bleach, Moribito and Code Geass. Then promplety passed out.

Today sleep in till noon, caught the final minute of Man U/Chelsea, then got up cleaned house alittle, laundry, usaul crap. Watched football playoffs some more, work and finished the Taj (mostly) then watch the start of the new season of 24. And now its late Sunday, time for bed so I can get up and go back to another week of work.:(

Today was real interesting... no not really. Sitting here watching the BcS title game, then bed. Won another lego pirate set today off ebay. Now only three to go arrrgh :) Of course I wasn't going to spend anymore this month, so much for that (<...$... Worked on the Taj some more hopfully by this weekend that be done if I dont sleep the whole weekend. But I still got worked tomorrrow and Friday good, cuase hey new Naruto chapter out hopfully. Last chapter was kick ass so something to look forward to.

Today boring as hell work was alrgiht, tonight been stressful spending most to the night with family issues. Havent done much else dealing with that shit. Did watch an ep of Black Lagoon, need to start watching more anime, another one of my new years res. I got boxset after boxset of anime sitting here that I need to watch. Got Soul Eater on dvd so I hopfully watch that sooner than later.

So anyways got an iphone demo at work, pretty cool I been using to check the weather, yeah the weather instant weather updates from like anywhere in the world from where I work to Nerima to oh Wrexham to Timbuktu (it was a sunny 91f yesterday there). And the youtube link, being stuck on dailup here no youtube for me. Looked up and at the Ranma baka amv. Im thinking about getting one in may, got t-mobile so I'll have to by one off ebay but I can defienty see me using it alot. Anyway i need sleep until next time :)

Well today was cold and icy but at least the roads didn't ice and it will 70f again in a couple days. Starting to feel alot better now, which is good.

Let's see watching superstars of dance right now for the second night in a row. Yes wtf I said dance, no I really not into dance but this show is cool. It's solo, pair and group dances from 8 countries (Argentina, Australia, Ireland, Russia, India, China, USA, South Africa). Everything from lord of the dance to zulu tribe dancing of Saolin monks kung fu. Very interesting all the differant cultural dances from all corners of the globe. That's all really worked of the Taj Mahal for a little but thats about it for tonight, typicial boring weekday.

Let's see, said I was going to sick from the frickin AF bowl wed. Well I am, got a frickin sinus infection, been snotting blood all day. At least I got the weekend off again. yeeh!! Hopfully I get over this soon . Of course on wed it was cold and windy, today it was near 80f will be 80f tomorrow then back to the 30s my sunday/monday. Good 'ol Texas weather.

Otherwise got some new lego sets and couple books and hopfully I'll get the lego vestas wind turbine set I bought on ebay the other day. (< ...$....
